Eco-empathy is a photographic series reflecting on the felt response to human-induced climate change in our present Anthropocene era. I explore the eco-anxiety themes of vulnerability, disassociation, resilience, and introspection through the pinhole technique. The soft lines speak to my concerns about solastalgia, also known as climate anxiety and our experience and sensation of the natural world. The blurry tones reflect my uncertainty and concern for a future impacted by climate change, a blurry dismal reality.
