Where the green seeps into the Concrete is a photographic investigation of the relationship between the human-made and the natural in urban landscapes, I document how nature seeps into the urban environment through a documentary lens intersecting with the surreal through double exposure techniques. Living in a concrete jungle, we do not always immerse ourselves in nature and so can feel disconnected. I'm feeling disconnected. Stepping into the green urban space recharges and grounds me. I follow a rule; each double-exposure image is seen from one spot to create an abstract environment where nature and urban spaces meet.
